The SIUE Cougar Cupboard Food Pantry provides food assistance to students in times of need, helping them to meet their basic needs and attain their educational goals.  Supplies Needed:  Non Perishable Items.

The staff strives for excellence in obtaining each residential needs and goals to obtain independence.

Maryville Food Pantry accepts food donations and financial support from a variety of local churches, businesses, schools, clubs, organizations, and individuals.  The food pantry provides food and necessities for 50+ Maryville households which include 60+ children.  Assistance is open to anyone who either lives in Maryville, has a child in a Maryville school or attends a Maryville church at least twice a month.

St. John Bosco Children's Center provides a loving, caring, and structured home for children free from abuse and neglect.  We strive to promote healing of the mind, body and spirit to enable the children to flourish in a less restrictive environment.

The Violence Prevention Center is an agency serving men, women and children, who are victims of domestic violence.  The agency has been in existence since 1978 and offers emergency shelter.

Oasis Women's Center is a domestic violence service near Alton, IL providing help for people dealing with domestic abuse.

Chestnut Health Center is a substance abuse or mental health facility treatment service.  The mission of Chestnut Opportunities is to facilitate the overall recovery process.  This is accomplished by creating an environment where hope is evident and success is celebrated.  Opportunities' core principles and activities are to develop empowerment through active involvement in one's own rehabilitation goal settings.

The Joseph Center is a 501c nonprofit organization with a mission to empower male homeless veterans to rejoin the community as productive members of society.

Adult Education provides free classes preparing persons for High Scholl Equivalency exams including GED and HiSET.  Instruction includes all subject areas of:  social studies, science, language arts, and math.  Classes are short in duration and focus on both the basic content of the test and test-taking skills.
